JAS visit to the Crime Museum at New Scotland Yard

Crime Museum visitOn 22 May, JAS members were treated to a private tour of the Metropolitan Police’s Crime Museum at New Scotland Yard.  Formerly known as the Black Museum, the collection houses criminal memorabilia collected by the Metropolitan Police from the 1870s onwards. JAS 1st Annual General Meeting held at the U.S. Embassy

JAS members gathered at the U.S. Embassy for the Society’s first Annual General Meeting on March 6, 2012.  The meeting was hosted by Deputy Cultural Attaché, Kate Bentley, who, as Returning Officer, also announced the results of the JAS Executive Committee Elections. Full details of the new Committee can be found on the Elections page.

The 2012 Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund is open for submissions

The 2012 Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund competition is now open! The AEIF offers $1,000,000 to help teams of alumni tackle some of the world’s most pressing issues.  Administered by the State Department’s Alumni Affairs Division, AEIF awards up to $25,000 per winning team. All State Alumni are welcome to participate.
