Join us to hear about the US Presidential elections the day after Super Tuesday.  We will hear from our guest speakers and then have a Q&A session.

Our Speakers

Sir Simon Burns has represented Chelmsford since 1987.  He has served in a number of Ministerial and front bench roles and was Knighted in June 2015.  Sir Simon has a long standing interest in American Politics and is no doubt following this election closely.

Lauren Fedor is the chief reporter at City A.M. She previously worked as a television producer for CNBC in London and MSNBC in New York. Lauren graduated magna cum laude from Brown University and has a master’s degree in politics and journalism from Columbia University.

Chris Boesen has worked in politics in Washington for over 25 years as an advocate, government official and member of the press. For the last 11 years Chris has served as President of Tiber Creek Associates, a Capitol Hill-based lobbying and consulting firm specializing in Native American issues, mortgage finance and healthcare advocacy. Chris served in several capacities in the US government, most recently as Policy Advisor to the US Secretary of Housing and Urban Development and the agency’s Deputy Assistant Secretary for Legislation. Having begun his career as a reporter covering Congress, Chris then served on the staff of the Financial Services Committee of the US House of Representatives and US Senate Committee on Indian Affairs.  Chris is a graduate of the Center for Congressional and Presidential Studies’ Campaign Management Institute, has advised state, local and national campaigns and served as a gubernatorial campaign manager.  He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and a Master’s Degree in Communication (Journalism and Public Affairs) from The American University in Washington, DC.
