Don’t miss your chance to join JAS at an exclusive event on the evening of Tuesday 11 August where we have been offered access to a late opening of the British Library’s Magna Carta exhibition, preceded by a private introductory talk by one of the exhibition’s expert staff.
For this once-in-a-lifetime exhibition, the British Library has brought together the iconic documents and artifacts that tell the story of Magna Carta, including:
– four original 1215 Magna Carta documents
– Jefferson’s handwritten copy of the Declaration of Independence
– one of the original copies of the US Bill of Rights
– stunning manuscripts, paintings, statues, and Royal relics
The event will start at 6pm on Tuesday 11 August, at the British Library.
The ticket price set by the British Library is £16 per person.
Space is limited: we only have 50 places available, and tickets will be allocated on a first come, first served basis so please register your interest quickly!
