The John Adams Society is very pleased to invite you to an exclusive visit to Sulgrave Manor and Blenheim Palace. Sulgrave Manor has a fascinating history and is the ancestral home of George Washington, the first President of the United States. Blenheim Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage site, home of the 12th Duke of Marlborough and his family, is the birth place of Sir Winston Churchill.
We are also very pleased to announce that we will be accompanied by Professor Lawrence Goldman on this visit. Professor Goldman is a Professor of History at the Institute of Historical Research at the University of London. He taught at St Peter’s College in the University of Oxford for 29 years, and was Editor of the Oxford Dictionary of National Biographies from 2004 – 2014. Professor Goldman will also talk to us about “Conservative Revolutionaries and the Founding Fathers”.
